This World Homeless Day (10th October) join us for a sponsored walk through urban areas of Milton Keynes to highlight the lengths that some people experiencing homelessness have to take to find support or a safe place to stay for the night.
The walk will cover nearly 4 miles, walking from Grahams Plumbing Store (one of our corporate partners), to Unity Park Station with a mid-way stop at Coffee Hall local centre.
This walk is designed to be slightly challenging in that we will be walking in dark autumn conditions and participants will need to get to the mid-way and end destination under their own steam and using their own navigation skills! (Don’t panic if you get lost easily, we will supply the route and directions and our team will be walking too.)
We are asking for each participant to aim to raise at least £100 by gaining sponsorship for the event with an overall group target of £3000 which will help us continue our vital work with people who are in crisis and experiencing homelessness in Milton Keynes.
